Gavin Faulkner is a third-year medical student at the University of New England in Maine. He earned his Wilderness EMT certification through NOLS Wilderness Medicine in 2016 and his Advanced EMT certification in 2018. His professional experience includes work in both urban and rural EMS settings, as well as service on ski patrol at Big Sky in Montana and mountain bike patrol at Highland Bike Park in New Hampshire.

Gavin is also an avid skier, rock climber, and ice climber. In 2023, he completed a successful unguided expedition to the summit of Denali in Alaska.
